Fr. Robert Spitzer, SJ, president of the Magis Center of Reason and Faith (www.magisreasonfaith.org) and the Spitzer Center for Catholic organizations will speak at Our Lady of Good Counsel parish in Manhattan on Thursday March 15 at 7:00 p.m.. He will discuss his upcoming film, Cosmic Origins, a powerful narrative that demonstrates how modern science leads to a Catholic understanding of how the universe came to exist. Fr. Spitzer will also conduct a question-and-answer session after the 49-minute film. He formerly served as president of Gonzaga University from 1998-2009.
