The Jesuits of the New York Province of the Society of Jesus mourn the death of our brother, Avery Cardinal Dulles, S.J., and rejoice in the everlasting life he now enjoys with our Lord whom he served so well. He gave generously and happily to the Church he loved as a scholar, teacher, priest and Jesuit, ad majorem Dei gloriam. — Rev. David S. Ciancimino, S.J., Provincial
