Effects of Incarceration on FamiliesOn May 17 at 7 p.m. in Wallace Hall at St. Ignatius Church in NYC, the Ignatian Social Justice and Ignatian Young Adults groups are cosponsoring a presentation by Hour Children, a Queens-based nonprofit that works with incarcerated and formerly incarcerated mothers and their children. Sister Tesa Fitzgerald, a Sister of St. Joseph, will share her work to keep families together and help them gain economic independence after jail. Sr. Tesa will talk about how each of us can effect change for this vulnerable population.

Gates Millennium Scholars at Xavier HS Chuuk

Fr. Joseph Parkes, SJ, president of Cristo Rey New York High School, will be among the three individuals honored at St. Aloysius School's 20th Annual Scholarship Dinner on May 17. New President for New York Nativity

New York Nativity's Board of Trustees has unanimously elected Dr. Michael V. Yazurlo as its next President, effective July 1, 2012. Outgoing President Fr.
