New York Province

Fr. James Martin, SJ, is featured in the new issue of TIME: Father Martin: The Priest Who Prays for Stephen Colbert.


Ed Cullen, a graduate of Xavier High School and Fordham University, writes of his experience, particularly at Xavier, that prompted him to join the Jesuit Volunteer Corps.

The Maryland Province has established a Relief Fund for the people of Chile. The Province has a twinning relationship with the Province of Chile. There is also a new blog to provide information and photos.


Loyola University Maryland has named Rev. James J. Miracky, SJ, currently associate dean for faculty development at the College of the Holy Cross, the dean of Loyola College, Loyola’s school of arts and sciences. Fr. Miracky will assume his new duties on July 1, 2010.
