A new statue of St. Ignatius Loyola has been placed in front of Saint Peter's Prep in Jersey City. It was designed by sculptor Shelley Kolman Smith, and is a companion to a similar piece at Gonzaga College High School in Washington, D.C. Mr. Mario Paredes the Presidential Liaison to the United Nations and Roman Catholic Ministries of the American Bible Society was the recipient of the award. Before joining the American Bible Society, Mr. Paredes served as the National Director of the U.S. Hispanic Market for the Multicultural & Diversified Business Development Group for Merrill Lynch.
